Kristin E. Poppenberg, MD

Kristin E. Poppenberg, MD Dr. Kristin Poppenberg completed her undergraduate education at Canisius College where she graduated summa cum laude with a BS degree in All-College Honors and Biology. She graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. She continued her training at SUNY Buffalo by completing a Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency. She served as chief resident for this program in 2008-2009. Dr. Poppenberg is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and American Academy of Pediatrics. She enjoys cooking and travel. She spends her free time taking in the local music, arts, and cultural scene.


Joseph H. Wandass III, MD

Joseph H. Wandass III, MD Dr. Joseph H. Wandass, III joined Quaker Medical Associates in 2005 after serving for five years as Medical Director of Outpatient Medical Offices for Bertrand Chaffee Hospital. He received his medical degree magna cum laude from SUNY at Buffalo where he also earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry. Before attending medical school, Dr. Wandass was appointed as a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at the Naval Research Laboratory and also worked for the Dutch Chemical Company Akzo Nobel. Dr. Wandass is author or co-author of more than 20 scientific papers and holds a United States Patent in magnetic sensor technology. As are all of our physicians, Dr. Wandass is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Outside of the office, Dr. Wandass enjoys participating in golf and bicycling with his family, amateur radio and astronomy, and music.

Dana L. Wymer, D.O.

Dana L. Wymer, MD Dr. Dana L. Wymer graduated from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA in 2006. Prior to medical school she received her undergraduate degree in architecture in 1989 and her master's degree in engineering in 1992 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She worked as an engineer for twelve years prior to going to medical school. She did her post-doctoral training at the SUNY Buffalo Medical-Dental Consortium completing a Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency. She served as chief resident for the program from 2009-2010. Dr. Wymer is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and American Academy of Pediatrics. She enjoys music, cooking, reading; hiking, biking and traveling with her husband and son.
