Dr. Anna Kanaley is a magna cum laude graduate of Canisius College with a BS in Biology. She spent a year in the MS in Biology program at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Her DO degree was conferred at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA where she was honored with the 2005 LECOM College of Medicine Dedication to Primary Care Award in Pediatrics. She completed a Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency through SUNY Buffalo Medical-Dental Consortium. Dr. Kanaley is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and American Academy of Pediatrics. She spends her free time with her growing family.
Lori received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Niagara University and received her Masters Degree in Nursing from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, an IBLCE lactation consultant and a Triple P (a behavioral intervention to promote positive parenting) Provider. She is a member of the Western New York Pediatric Nurse Practitioners Association and the International Lactation Consultants Association. She thoroughly enjoys working with children of all ages and their families. Her special interests in medicine include lactation, nutrition, asthma management, and behavioral health. She joined Quaker Medical in 1992 and enjoys spending free time traveling with her family.

In 1989, Francis Mezzadri, MD, cofounded the practice that grew into Quaker Medical Associates, with a vision to create a practice that would provide the highest quality primary care to WNY families. Over the years, other talented physicians joined the practice and added to its reputation of quality and excellence. Since Dr. Mezzadri retired from the practice in early 2018, Quaker Medical’s physician owners continue to value evidence based medical care of you, their patient, over profits, and have chosen to remain an independent physicians’ practice rather than be acquired by a larger health care organization.
Dr. Kristin Poppenberg completed her undergraduate education at Canisius College where she graduated summa cum laude with a BS degree in All-College Honors and Biology. She graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and continued her training at SUNY Buffalo by completing a Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency, where she served as chief resident for this program in 2008-2009. Dr. Poppenberg is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and American Academy of Pediatrics. She enjoys cooking and travel and spends her free time taking in the local music, arts, and cultural scene, and with her growing family.

Jeannie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from State University of New York at Brockport. She received her Masters Degree in Nursing from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Jeannie enjoys providing care to healthy children and their families and she also takes a special interest in children with developmental differences, including behavioral and physical issues. She has worked with children and adolescents with developmental delays, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, ADHD, and feeding disorders at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Her greatest joy comes from her husband and family. She enjoys her work as much as her play. She joined Quaker Medical in 1994.
Dr. Deberny is a summa cum laude graduate of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He received a Bachelor's in Science degree in Biology. He received his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He went on to complete his internal medicine/pediatric residency program at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Deberny was chief resident of internal medicine at Buffalo General Hospital from 1993 to 1994. Dr. Deberny is board certified in pediatrics and internal medicine. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and is a member of the Christian Medical Society. After completing his residency, he spent one year at the State University of New York at Buffalo focusing on adolescent medicine, sports medicine, and cystic fibrosis. He has been a member of the Quaker Medical Associates team since 1996 and is a full partner in the practice. After a brief hiatus in Florida, Dr Deberny rejoined Quaker Medical in 2016. He loves to spend time with his wife and three children. He is extensively involved in his local church congregation and loves to garden and run on a regular basis.
Amanda Kindzia graduated from Gannon University in 2010 with her master's degree in Physician Assistant Science. She became a member of National Health Service Corps working in internal medicine in Chautauqua County. Amanda is also a Certified Diabetic Educator. She is a member of AAPA, NYSSPA, and AADE. She is enthusiatic and looking forward to building new relationships with the providers, staff, and patients at Quaker Medical Associates.
She enjoys running half marathons, beach volleyball, yoga, being with her niece and nephews, and hiking/walking with her dogs.

Dr. Dana L. Wymer graduated from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA in 2006. Prior to medical school she received her undergraduate degree in architecture in 1989 and her master's degree in engineering in 1992 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She worked as an engineer for twelve years prior to going to medical school. She did her post-doctoral training at the SUNY Buffalo Medical-Dental Consortium completing a Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency. She served as chief resident for the program from 2009-2010. Dr. Wymer is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and American Academy of Pediatrics. She enjoys music, cooking, reading; hiking, biking and traveling with her husband and son.
Dr. Dombrowski completed her undergraduate education at William Smith College, where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology. She graduated cum laude from the School of Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency through the State University of New York at Buffalo Graduate Medical Consortium. Dr. Dombrowski was chief resident for the Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency program from 2000-2001. For 12 years, Dr, Dombrowski treated patients at her own private practice in East Aurora, and, in 2015, she joined Quaker Medical Associates. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Pediatrics, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Society, Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, and the American College of Physicians, as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She enjoys music, sports and spending time with her family.
