Welcome to our Practice

Quaker Medical Associates is devoted to providing premium Internal Medicine and Pediatric medical care. The care is provided by board eligible/board certified physicians and nurse practitioners who are well trained. The care provided is performed with respect and dedication as a result of our own high standards. Our patient's emotional and physical well being is our highest priority. We will strive to be clear in our communication regarding your condition and treatment options. We will continue to improve through personal and team development with continuing education and technological advances available. Our physicians and staff would like to thank you for the opportunity to participate in your care.

What's New

Quaker Medical Associates is proud to be a breastfeeding friendly practice.

Whether you are expecting, are a first time breastfeeding mom, or an experienced mom having difficulty or concerns regarding breastfeeding, we are here to offer you help.

While you may already be acquainted with Lori DiMillo as one of our Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, we would like you to know she is an IBLCE (International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiner).  Lori is also a member  of the International Lactation Consultant Association.  Her goal is to provide quality breastfeeding support and management.  Lori's focus is on preventative healthcare, therefore provides support and encourages parents to  be actively involved in decisions regarding their breastfeeding experiences.

NCQA RECOGNITION - In February 2014 Quaker Medical Associates achieved Level 3 Recognition (the highest level) for Patient Center Medical Home (PCMH) from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

Hospitalist Service - In an effort to provide improved office accessibility for our patients, we recently made the difficult decision to stop seeing patients in the hospital. We have contracted with the hospitalist service at Buffalo General Hospital, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, and Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo. The hospitalist will notify us when you are admitted and call us upon your discharge with a summary of the admission and arrange follow-up in our office. Additionally, they will notify us of any changes in your hospital course. We continue to ask that you use these hospitals when possible in an effort to ensure continuity of care.

Newborn infants at  South Buffalo Mercy and Sisters Hospitals will be seen by the staff physicians of each respective hospital.

Workers' Compensation - Effective October 1, 2014 we will no longer be treating injuries or illness related to workers' compensation.

DOT Physicals - Our office no longer performs DOT physicals

Quaker Quits Program - We will continue in 2015 to prioritize smoking cessation with our "Quaker Quits" program. If you are a smoker, we would like to help you succeed at permanently quitting. If you are a patient and are interested in participating with our program please call our office at 662-8510 option 3 to schedule an appointment.
